Happy New Year! I hope it's a happy, hopeful, magical one for you all. That sneak peek of my new book is still coming, just a little later than expected. Stay tuned! Lost Lake will likely be published in late fall/early winter of 2013... in the meantime there will be sneak peeks, contests and original short stories to help get you through the year. More to come.

I've finally finished my new book Lost Lake (the title could change, but that's the official one for now) which means the publishing wheels are starting to turn! On a personal note, I'm coming up on my first anniversary of being cancer-free. 2011 was not a great year for me (scroll down to the October 2011 news entry for the explanation of my diagnosis and treatment). 2012 has been infinitely better, and I was so glad I could get back to work and finish this new novel. I'm so excited about it. Thank you to all my kind readers who have written me and kept me in your prayers. I am grateful beyond measure. 2013 is going to be fabulous.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer early this year and finally finished treatment this month! You can read about my diagnosis, chemo and radiation on Facebook. Thanks to everyone for your good thoughts and wishes. I'm doing great.
